Caribbean entertainment specialists Irish and Chin have once again raised the bar with their high powered event stagings. The latest addition to the company’s credit is the blockbuster return of “REEEWIND” on SATURDAY, July 18, 2015! With a line up that’s bursting at the seams with a who’s who of the Reggae music industry, while shining a bright light on sound system culture, “REEEWIND” will exceed fans expectations. The epic “REEEWIND: Singers Meet DJs” looks like it will singlehandedly carry New York through what is no doubt an action packed summer. “REEEWIND” is the only show in North America dedicated to 4 hours of non-stop rub-a-dub entertainment. The likes of Freddie McGregor, Richie Spice, Cocoa Tea, Shinehead, Josey Wales, Charlie Chaplin, Brigadier Jerry, Carlton Livingston and General Trees will make “REEEWIND” unforgettable.
This dream line up of Reggae music luminaries wouldn’t shine so bright if it weren’t for top-rated legendary sound systems Downbeat and Mighty Crown setting the musical back-drop with infectious, incessant riddims. While the red-hot line up of singers will be back by Mighty Crown “The Far East Rulaz,” the incredible singers teams will have the unruly riddims of Downbeat to drive them. The meet up of theses masters of their craft will prove to be quite a pleasing formula for fans.
“REEEWIND” premiered in 2010. The stellar event instantly won it’s positioning as a Irish and Chin flagship event, based on crowd size and response alone. The “REEEWIND” stage has been touched by the late, great Sugar Minott, U-Roy, Brigadier Jerry, Charlie Chaplin, Beenie Man, General Trees, Sister Nancy, Sanchez, Frankie Paul, Admiral Bailey, Cocoa Tea, Luciano, King Stur Gav, Danny Dread/King Addies, Downbeat Jah Love and many more. Saturday, July 18 will go down in history. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
