Child sexual abuse and human trafficking are far-reaching life altering issues that affect more individuals and communities than are often imagined. The Female Development World Organization’s (FDWO) and a host committee of local leaders are again stepping up to address these issues by raising funds, serving as advocates and bringing awareness at the third annual Protect the Children Gala; Thursday, June 28, 2018 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm at the brand new Crystal Ballroom located at The Venue in Fort Lauderdale.
The event attire is formal, and the activities include a cocktail reception pre-event, music, silent auction, food and artistic performances throughout. Guests will have opportunities to network with international leaders in business, arts, politics, community and culture; while learning about FWDO’s strong leadership in ensuring legislations are in place while supporting efforts that raise awareness about the prevention of Child Abuse and Human Trafficking as well as necessary interventions and supports for survivors.
