ras slickGood music is born out of a passion to bring healing and deliver a message to a wide range of listeners. Not every musician has the drive to follow this path. But reggae artist Ras Slick is bringing great reggae music to the world in a dynamic way.

Ras Slick hails from Westmoreland, Jamaica, where his strong and deeply rooted musical background can be traced back to his youth. Known for captivating performances, he is a rare blend of entertainer, astute entrepreneur, songwriter and cutting-edge music producer who brings a high level of energy, zeal and evident hard work to all his endeavors.

His music is stimulating, timeless and unique in style. With his electrifying band, Dutty Bus Crew, Ras Slick has stormed large and diverse audiences with distinct and relatable songs that showcase his beautiful voice.

Ras Slick has emerged as a prominent figure in reggae music. He has consecutively won Best Male Vocalist honors at the Washington DC Annual Reggae Music Awards (ARMA). He has graced respected stages such as Carifesta and Linganore Caribbean Wine Festivals, the Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival, the Jamaica Music Conference in Kingston, and the DC World Reggae Festival with Shabba Ranks, Chronixx and Toots & the Maytals.

He has opened for reggae icons including his musical idol Beres Hammond, Sizzla, Morgan Heritage, Iba Mahr, Luciano, Tarrus Riley and Jesse Royal.

Ras Slick also creates and produces music of all genres for both established and up-and-coming artists in his music production studio, My Time Studio.
