At a press briefing on Thursday, April 2nd, Jamaica’s Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, announced that he will be extending the country’s border closure for an additional 14 days.
The government initially implemented the order on March 24th with the hopes of slowing the spread of the corona virus. Basically what this means is that no incoming passenger (whether by air or sea) is being allowed to enter the island during the aforementioned period.
