The Jamaican government has just announced that they will start to ease restrictions as the island’s curve begins to flatten. As such, starting on Wednesday, May 13th, Jamaica’s new curfew hours will be 8 PM to 5 AM.
The new hours are in effect until the Labor Day holiday period, which will unfortunately have stricter hours as follows: Sunday, May 24th, to Monday, May 25th; 3 PM to 8 AM, and on Monday, May 25th, it starts at 3 PM and goes until 5 AM the following day.
After the Labor Day holiday we will go back to a more relaxed schedule. On Tuesday, May 26th, through to May 31st, the curfew will be 9 PM to 5 AM. Additional announcements will be made at the end of the month.
