In mid January Maria Jackson Magazine published an article about a catchy soca-gospel track called “Overflow,” performed by Guyanese recording artist Samuel Medas. In that story we said that the song was so good that we can see it being played at all the biggest soca fetes and road marches around the world.
Regarding Samuel‘s newest release, “Stadium,” we’re now saying that it is guaranteed to cross over into secular playlists. The brand new soca song, which shows a more energetic side of the gospel singer, is all about our collective desire to get back to our lives the way they were prior to the pandemic.
