Jamaican music label, The Tech Head Records, which is owned and operated by dancehall recording artist and producer Crude E’ Vil, has just released a five-track dancehall compilation titled Si69ine Riddim.
The project features new songs from Karamanti, Point O, Sweetfhace, Parka Jubilant and of course Crude E’ Vil. The beat, which is considered dancehall fused with hip-hop, was created by Crude at his Linstead studio.
While all other tracks are centered around man/woman relationships, both Karmanti and Point O were very deliberate in sharing songs with strong messages. Point O encouraged listeners, particularly emerging artists, not to give up on their dreams; and Karamanti spoke passionately to those involved in the crime and violence currently running rampant across Jamaica.
