D’Angelo took the music world by storm with his exceptional musical prowess and amazing artistry. However, in the midst of platinum selling albums, multiple Grammy Awards, and sold-out world tours he left the public eye as a result of the pressures of success, only to return out of nowhere with a landmark soundtrack of his lost years.

Now his fans are being invited into his world via a digital stage presentation of the acclaimed documentary Devil’s Pie at the Apollo Theatre on November 4th. It has never been widely screened for New York audiences. Following the presentation, there will be a conversation with ImageNation’s co-founder Moikgantsi Kgama and the film’s director Carine Bijlsma.
