Pressure Busspipe, U.S. Virgin Islands’ reggae ambassador, has been added to the lineup for Anthony B’s Black & Proud Reggae Concert. It’s scheduled for February 25th at Club Amazura in Queens, New York.
In 2005 Pressure released his debut album, The Pressure Is On. Two years later – in 2007 – he had a breakout hit in Jamaica with the remix of Love and Affection, a song originally recorded for producer Dean Pond, but updated by famed Jamaican music maker Don Corleon. Since then Pressure Busspipe has been regarded as an international reggae star. He has had subsequent hits, and has toured the world many times over.
In addition to Anthony B, Pressure will also join Turbulence and Perfect Giddimani on the Black & Proud Reggae Concert. Additional music will be provided by Massive B Sound (Bobby Konders & Jabba) and Mountain Lion Sound. Early bird tickets are available now via eventbrite.
