Born Fire Promotions and Reggae Vibes Music – the companies powering the upcoming Black & Proud Concert in New York – have announced the full and final lineup, as well as locations to purchase physical tickets.
On Saturday, February 25th, patrons at Club Amazura – located in Queens – will be treated to a live reggae show like no other. Some of the industry’s best performers will share the stage, with the main headliner, Anthony B, leading the way. The original fireman will be joined by Turbulence, Kabaka Pyramid, Perfect Giddimani, Pressure Busspipe, Dreama, Kendallaz, and Rufftop Rock I; who will all be backed by the Gennaroots Band.
The event, which was conceptualized to celebrate both Black History Month and Reggae Month, will be hosted by Dubbmaster Chris, and additional music will be provided by Massive B Sound (Bobby Konders & Jabba) and Mountain Lion Sound. Audio and lighting are being supplied by Venom Y2K, one of the most trusted audio visual equipment stores in New York.
Persons based in and around New York can now buy physical tickets in Queens at VP Records Retail Store, Veggie Castle, and Genesis II Restaurant; in Brooklyn at Golden Krust and Da Place Cuisine; and in Long Island at Tony Mac Bakery & Restaurant and Sam’s Caribbean Marketplace. Passes are also available online via eventbrite.
