Cyaah Save, the latest single from dancehall recording artist Crude E’ Vil, is being applauded for its ingenuity. It was released in mid January (both audio and video) via the Univrse 30 imprint. 

At a time when most new dancehall artists seem limited in their lyrical capabilities – writing only ‘choppa’ and ‘unda-gyal’ songs – it is beyond refreshing to hear an emerging act presenting something that, while very entertaining, is also factual. On the record Crude laments about losing all his money to various daily addictions: burger king, KFC, pizza hut etc. resulting in him struggling to cover his monthly living expenses.

Wearing his usual red and black ‘super hero’ costume, in the video Crude E ‘Vil sits at a table explaining why he is having a difficult time with money, while related b-roll clips are shown intermittently. Cyaah Save is a fun track that can be streamed and downloaded from all music platforms now.
