Kevin Downswell Confirmed For The ‘Manchester Kite Fest’

The Manchester Kite Festival & Family Funday is on April 10th. It will take place at the Kirkvine Sports Club in Manchester, Jamaica from 10am to 6pm. There will be go carts, bounce abouts, rock climbing, lots of games, and of course live music.

The live show will feature international gospel recording artist Kevin Downswell as the headlining act. He will be joined by Lil Kish, Touriss, Flexible Suede, as well as several other guest performers. Admission to this event is $1,000 JMD for adults and $700 for children.

Shirley Ceasar & Kelontae Gavin Will Headline Back-To-Back Shows In Texas

J. Spivey’s Productions’ Gigantic Gospel Concerts are set for Saturday, April 8th and Sunday, April 9th. They will be at Friendship West Baptist Church – 2020 W. Wheatland Road – in Dallas, and Greater Grace – 10800 Scott Street – in Houston, respectively.

Shirley Ceasar and Kelontae Gavin will headline both shows, and will be joined by Doc McKenzie & The Hi-Lites, The Bolton Brothers, The William Singers, Tim Rogers & The Fellas, The Virginia Aires, Group Fire, Visionz of Destiny, and Buddy & The Straightway Travelers. Click here to buy tickets.

Vincent Bohanan & SOV Will Be At Denzel Washington School Of The Arts On Mar. 24th (@VincentB_SOV)

Pastor Vincent Bohanan and The Sound of Victory (SOV) are special guests at the upcoming Gospel Music Night at the Denzel Washington School of the Arts. It will be held on Friday, March 24th at 7pm in the Phylicia Rashad Auditorium – 121 South 6th Avenue Mount – in Vernon, New York.

DJ Nicholas Releases New Video “Not Normal” (@djnicholas2)

Dancehall-gospel recording artist DJ Nicholas has just shared the official video for his collaborative single, Not Normal, done with fellow believer Da Journey. The song is featured on Nicholas‘ 2021 studio album, Abnormal Decibel, which came out last July.

New Date & Location For ‘The Well Encounter’

The previously announced gospel show – The Well Encounter – will now take place on Saturday, March 18 at a new location: Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.

Chandler Moore and Naomi Raine, two of the leaders in American urban contemporary gospel music, will headline the event. They will be joined by some of Jamaica’s biggest Christian recording artists: Carlene Davis, Kevin Downswell, Rondell Positive and Rhoda Isabella.

March Is Women’s History Month, Celebrate With Yolanda Adams

In honor of Women’s History Month, The Links Incorporated will pay tribute to The Hon. Adrienne Adams, Camille Joseph-Goldman, Misty Copeland, Dr. Hazel N. Dukes and Rev. Dr. Elaine M. Flake, this coming Saturday, March 11th.

The event, which will feature a musical performance by gospel giant Yolanda Adams, will be held at Terrace On The Park – 52 11 111th Street – in Queens, New York. Confirmed MC is NY1 anchor and acclaimed author Cheryl Wills. General tickets can be purchased on eventbrite.

Spring Into Praise With Marvin Sapp

The City of Harvey (in Illinois) is inviting all its residence to come together in a joyful celebration of hope, as they present Stellar Award-winning and Grammy-nominated Gospel superstar Marvin Sapp at the Thornton Township High School on March 20.

Sapp will headline a casual evening of praise, hosted by Harvey’s own Lonnie Hunter. The concert includes performances by True Holiness COGIC Chior – Harvey, Dexter Walker, Zion Movement, and Bridgette Hurt. Tickets are free but RSVP is required.
